It's About Having A Relationship
With GOD
The Church
**Basic Foundation for Christ**

1. **Believe in Christ.**
2. **Cultivate a Relationship with God** - Spend meaningful time with Him!
3. **Trust in God wholeheartedly.**
4. **Embrace Faith.**
5. **Manifest the Fruit of the Spirit** - Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
6. **Practice Humility** and strive to grow into a better version of yourself for the glory of Christ.
7. **Understand That God's Thoughts and Ways Are Beyond Ours** - As Isaiah 55:8-9 beautifully reminds us, "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the Lord. "As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts."
8. **Serve God** by sharing His Word and uplifting others.
9. **Repent, Repent, Repent.**
10. **Release Judgments Against Yourself and Others.*

"Feed My Sheep"

Care for and tend to the people of God

John 21:15-19

15 When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?”
“Yes, Lord,” he said, “you know that I love you.”
Jesus said, “Feed my lambs.”
16 Again Jesus said, “Simon son of John, do you love me?”
He answered, “Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.”
Jesus said, “Take care of my sheep.”
17 The third time he said to him, “Simon son of John, do you love me?”
Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, “Do you love me?” He said, “Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you.”
Jesus said, “Feed my sheep. 18 Very truly I tell you, when you were younger you dressed yourself and went where you wanted; but when you are old you will stretch out your hands, and someone else will dress you and lead you where you do not want to go.” 19 Jesus said this to indicate the kind of death by which Peter would glorify God. Then he said to him,
“Follow me!”

"Planting Seeds"

Planting Seeds of Encouragement

A seed of good advice, love, and care reflects the true essence of the "Fruit of the Spirit."
Planting seeds is not about the giver; it is about faithfully and genuinely helping others out of the kindness of your heart without expecting anything in return. It's not about you; it's about God empowering you to uplift others. The greatest gift is sharing the word of God and witnessing His transformative power in a person's life.

**How to Plant a Seed and What to Expect Afterward**

A person takes time to purchase seeds, a flower pot, and soil. In the same way, a believer invests time in knowing their Heavenly Father by acquiring a Bible and other resources to help plant seeds in others.

The person places the soil and seeds into the flower pot. Likewise, a believer sows the seeds of God's Word in the hearts of others. Step 1 is vital; sharing Christ's wisdom without reading and studying the Bible is challenging. The true power lies in reading, believing, and acting on the Word of God.

Next, the person must continually water the plant. At this stage, the believer nurtures the seeds they have sown with encouragement, hope, and love. It's essential to consistently love the person you are planting seeds in through prayer. Invites God to work in their life!

Watch how God brings about growth and transformation. This journey is all about Him! Believers may sometimes feel they are the ones facilitating change, but ultimately, God has the power to cultivate growth. Remember to give credit to God for His incredible work!

Parable of the Sower
Luke 8:4-15

4While a large crowd was gathering and people were coming to Jesus from town after town, he told this parable: 5 “A farmer went out to sow his seed. As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path; it was trampled on, and the birds ate it up. 6 Some fell on rocky ground, and when it came up, the plants withered because they had no moisture. 7 Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up with it and choked the plants. 8 Still other seed fell on good soil. It came up and yielded a crop, a hundred times more than was sown.”
When he said this, he called out, “Whoever has ears to hear, let them hear.”
9 His disciples asked him what this parable meant. 10 He said, “The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of God has been given to you, but to others I speak in parables, so that,
“‘though seeing, they may not see;
though hearing, they may not understand.’

11 “This is the meaning of the parable: The seed is the word of God. 12 Those along the path are the ones who hear, and then the devil comes and takes away the word from their hearts, so that they may not believe and be saved. 13 Those on the rocky ground are the ones who receive the word with joy when they hear it, but they have no root. They believe for a while, but in the time of testing they fall away. 14 The seed that fell among thorns stands for those who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked by life’s worries, riches and pleasures, and they do not mature. 15 But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering produce a crop.
