Pray for the joy and peace to keep moving forward. Watch for the good that unfolds in your life; often we focus too much on the negative and overlook the positives surrounding us.
Consider this perspective:
Each day, despite waking up in pain, I thank God for the ability to move my legs and arms after surgery. I am grateful for the free air I breathe, which gives me life and mobility.
Even in moments of depression, I celebrate the fact that I still know who I am. I am thankful for my family, children, church family, those who challenge me, and everyone I meet along my journey. While some may carry negativity, others embody God's love and forgiveness, inspiring us all.
Lastly, I cherish my relationship with a Creator who made me in His image, independent of how others may perceive me. Reflecting on my past and recognizing how God has helped me overcome challenges is a source of immense gratitude.

In Christ
In you, Lord, I have taken refuge;
let me never be put to shame.
